Police: Man Pulled From Harbor; Dog Walking Complaint

Tuesday, Oct. 6
At 9:59 a.m., there was a report of a man in the water yelling for help in Salem Harbor. The vessel “Willa” pulled the man from the water and brought him aboard a dinghy, where he was reportedly in good shape. The man also confirmed that he was alone.
At 11:21 a.m., a woman who was at Devereaux Beach reported seeing a daycare provider with five children and she was concerned that there were not enough car seats for all the children in her van. Officers discovered that the daycare provider did have enough car seats.

At 11:45 a.m., a caller on Bartlett Street reported that an elderly male who was walking two white dogs pulled down his pants and defecated in her yard. Police searched the area but found nothing.
At 12:51 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Atlantic Avenue.

At 2:39 p.m., a Beverly Avenue resident reported that he was the victim of an online scam to purchase a vehicle.
At 4:19 p.m., a hit and run motor vehicle accident was reported on Pleasant Street.

At 6:35 a.m., there was a report of dock that was adrift in Marblehead Harbor.
