Police: Ringing Doorbells; Drug Possession Arrest

At 12:06 p.m., a truck hit another vehicle on Beringer Way.

At 3:55 p.m., there was a two-car accident with no injuries at the intersection of Pleasant Street and Smith Street. One driver was issued a citation for a red light violation.

At 4:24 p.m., a stamp book was reported stolen on Sentry Road.

At 9:26 p.m., the power was reported out at the lighthouse on Lighthouse Lane.

At 10:15 p.m., a caller told police that her husband chased after a group of kids who rang their doorbell and took off on Bubier Road. The husband said the two kids were apologetic and left the area.

At 11:47 p.m., police arrested Charles K. Klapman, 57, of 47 Atlantic Ave. in Marblehead for the possession of a Class B drug.
