Police: Road Rage, Now With More Turkey; Can I Get Some Sleep Here?

Excerpts from the Marblehead Police Department log.

Tuesday, Sept. 22

At 8:55 a.m., a man walked into the police station reporting that his computer had been hacked and asking for advice.

At 10:34 a.m., there was a report of a truck driving the wrong way down Heritage Way.

At 11:02 a.m., a boat capsized in Salem Harbor.

At 11:12 a.m., police arrested Jaime Mendez-Lopez, 25, of 392 Boston St., #2 in Lynn and charged him with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failing to yield at an intersection.

At 11:46 a.m., a woman reports she was heading outbound on Pleasant and after the lights at MHS, there was a woman standing in the road looking at the turkey. The woman honked at her and the woman in the road, who then got in her car and pulled up next to her swearing. The woman who made the report gave the license plate and said her children were in the car and were very scared by the encounter. She said she wanted to make sure this woman wasn’t a fugitive or felon.

At 6:45 p.m., police arrested Michael Willie Johnson, 21, of 371 River Street in Mattapan on two warrants.

At 8:23 p.m., there was a report of a threatening note left on a car on Lafayette Street.

At 9:49 p.m., a woman near Atlantic and Ocean Avenues reported that she was trying to get to sleep and there were loud people in the area of the intersection.
