Police: Stolen Flowers; Poop in the Barrel

Wednesday, Sept. 23
At 10:28 a.m., there was a report of flowers taken from a window box on Washington Street.
At 10:52 a.m., someone broke into a shed at Little Harbor and spilled paint on two boats.

At 12:32 p.m., a man on Atlantic Avenue called and said the trash truck had come to collect his trash and after the trash truck left, someone went by and put trash, including dog poop, into his barrel. He said he wanted the incident logged, and that he would also call the transfer station to see it the trash truck could come back again to get the trash left in his barrel.
At 2:05 p.m., police arrested Frank Price Ferdinand, 31, of 1 Salem St. in Swampscott and charged him with breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, larceny under $250, and on two warrants.

Thursday, Sept. 24
At 6:35 a.m., a caller reported that a motorist was sleeping in his car on Ocean Avenue.
