Police: Stolen Golf Cart; Babysitting Issues

At 10:53 a.m., there was a report of kids screaming inside a house on Heritage Way. There was no issue; there was a big brother watching his little brother and the little brother wanted to go with the mother.

At 1:14 p.m., a verbal warning was given to a driver for texting while driving on Darling Street.

At 6:18 p.m., a young boy was struck by a car on Jersey Street. The boy was conscious and breathing.

At 7:33 p.m., an anonymous caller said there were possibly drunk people in an SUV on Pleasant Street yelling and screaming with a door open.

At 8:24 p.m., a caller reported that five teens had tried to steal his golf cart on Ocean Avenue. When the caller caught up with them, they abandoned the golf cart and took off.
