Thursday, August 13
At 9:48 a.m., there was a report of an accident on Lafayette Street. One man said a cab whipped into his driveway and hit his car, but there was an argument about who hit who.
At 10:40 a.m., a woman called police and said that on Wednesday, she was at the intersection of Washington and Atlantic when a car rolled through a stop sign. She said the woman driving was texting and smoking a cigarette and not paying attention to the road. The woman took a photo of the vehicle but not the driver.

At 11:35 a.m., a resident called police and said he had hired a contractor about two months ago and the deal fell through. Now that he has a new contractor, the original contractor cruises up and down his street to see how the work is being done. Also, the resident said piles of dog poop keep showing up in front of his house and he doesn’t know where they are coming from.
At 11:58 a.m., there was a report of a lost skateboard on Washington Street.
