Possibly Drunk Woman Knocked on Door Wanting a Hug

Monday, Feb. 23

At 10:38 a.m., multiple cars were noted for being parked for an extended period on Front Street. Eight vehicles were ticketed.

At 1:54 p.m., credit card fraud was reported.

At 1:57 p.m., a man reported that he lost his wedding ring in December and wanted it noted in case it had been turned in.

At 5:33 p.m., “some sort of verbal altercation” was reported to be taking place at the laundromat. It was determined to be a phone argument.

At 9:05 p.m., a caller reported that a slanderous email about a town resident had been sent.

Tuesday, Feb. 24

At 7:36 a.m., a town vehicle reported that he struck a parked car. There were no damaged vehicles in the area.

At 5:15 p.m., a woman called to report that a car ran over her foot while she was picking up her kids at school that day. She was unable to get a license plate number or see the driver.

At 9:24 p.m., a woman called to report that a woman, possibly drunk, was banging on the caller’s door and asking for a hug.

Wednesday, Feb. 25

At 4:12 a.m., a caller reported that a DPW plow struck and damaged their stone wall.

At 7:32 a.m., an MBTA bus struck a pole on Franklin Street.
