Rash of Spray-Paint Vandalism

Saturday, April 20

  • At 9:08 a.m., police received report from a Hawkes Street resident who said he left his vehicle unlocked overnight and someone stole a red backpack with his work files and his iPad in it.
  • At 9:53 a.m., a Washington Street caller reported threats from her soon-to-be ex-husband. The woman said the man threatened to kill her and her boyfriend. 
  • At 5:24 p.m., a Neptune Road caller reported a dirt bike he was working on was gone. 

Sunday, April 21

  • At 1:09 a.m., police received a report of two kids breaking into cars on Pearl Street. 
  • At 8:34 a.m., an Elm Street caller reported quite a bit of graffiti on the front of the school.
  • At 8:42 a.m., a Lime Street caller reported graffiti on the walls at the Charter School.
  • At 8:53 a.m., police received a report from Farrell Court man saying that several cars, including his, had been spray-painted with white paint overnight.
  • At 8:58 a.m., a Harbor Avenue caller reported car windows smashed in the driveway.
  • At 12:27 p.m., police received a call from Beringer Way, reporting vandalism to his car and work place. A number of buildings were tagged with the same symbol and signs.
