An Angry Son and a Big Bong

Thursday, April 18
- At 8:40 a.m., police took Ryan Derrek Peaslee, 33, of 20 Pond St., Apt. #1, Marblehead into custody on a warrant from another jurisdiction on possession of a Class C drug.
- At 9:51 a.m., a person walked into the station and turned in a found GMC key and remote device.
- At 7:34 p.m., police received a call from a member of the Salem Police Department who said they have information indicating a man was either going to jump off the Beverly/Salem bridge or come back to Marblehead and beat up his father. Marblehead police then received a call from the parents who said their son was on the Marblehead/Salem line. The son was taken into custody by Salem.
- At 8:07 p.m., police received multiple reports about a Saab striking a parked truck on Humphrey Street.
Friday, April 19
- At 00:39 a.m., police received a call from a Heritage Way resident who said a group of loud people around her house were keeping her and her daughter from sleeping.
- At 2:36 p.m., Salem police reported that a bank robbery suspect may have entered a cab en route to Marblehead. The cab was not located.
- At 2:55 p.m., a Nanepashemet Street caller reported a car cruising around with four occupants who were getting high and had a huge bong in the car. Police located a vehicle matching that description. Police receive consent to search the vehicle. No indication anything was found.
- At 4:09 p.m., police received a report from a Cloutmans Lane resident who said her neighbor was continuing to throw things in her yard.
- At 9:53 p.m., police received a report of a possible underage drinking party near West Street and Emerald Avenue. All the people there were old enough to legally drink.
