Save These Holiday Pops Dates

MARBLEHEAD, MASS. – The Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor announces three important dates for the 2016 Holiday Pops celebration events.

The Holiday Pops Artist Reception - Wednesday, November 9 - 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The 2016 Holiday Pops Artist Reception in honor of Susan j Schrader will be held at Abbot Library. The evening will begin in the library’s fireplaced Reading Room with the official unveiling of Schrader’s 2016 Holiday Pops Logo Art – “Marblehead Nights.” The evening will continue in the library’s Virginia A. Carten Gallery with an exhibit featuring selected works by Schrader. Refreshments prepared by Louise Moore and Every Little Breeze will be served. Giclees and note cards featuring the 2016 Holiday Pops painting will be available for purchase as well as raffle tickets for a chance to win the original painting.

2016 Holiday Pops Concert Tickets Go On Sale - Thursday, November 10. Balcony tickets will be available online and at Arnould Gallery and Framery, 111 Washington Street; Marblehead Bank, 21 Atlantic Avenue; National Grand Bank, 91 Pleasant Street; and Spirit of ’76 Bookstore, 107 Pleasant Street. Floor tickets will be available by mail through the order form published that day in The Marblehead Reporter and through the downloadable order form posted that morning at rcomh.org. Balcony tickets are $35 each; floor seats are $60 each.

2016 Holiday Pops Concert - Saturday, December 10. The 2016 Holiday Pops evening at historic Abbot Hall begins with a dessert reception at 7 p.m. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. Maestro Dirk Hillyer, The Hillyer Festival Orchestra and this year’s featured soloist, Rebecca Robbins, will perform a full program of magnificent holiday music.
