School Committee May Postpone Warrant Articles

2. Civic Meetings I: Town business gets addressed in several meetings today, among them the Municipal Light Board (which little birdies tell us might be an interesting meeting...) set for 4 p.m. at 80 Commercial St.

3. Civic Meetings II: The School Committee convenes at 7 p.m. at the high school library. The first 30 minutes are set aside for an executive session to discuss "certain contract claims asserted by the General Contractor for the Glover School." When they're back in open session at 7:30 p.m., items include "indefinite postponement of Warrant Articles." Interesting.

5. North Shore Idol Wows Judges (Again): Beverly's Angie Miller put on quite a show Wednesday night in two scorching performances on the popular national singing competition. Only four competitors remain. She and her fans will learn tonight if she makes it into the next round. The "results show" starts at 8 p.m. on Fox.
