Selectmen to Review Warrant Articles Tonight
Our "Five Things to Know" column brings you essential daily information at a glance, including a "mini-Town Meeting" tonight previewing this year's warrant articles.

2. Get the Skinny of This Year's Warrants: Town Meeting is coming on May 6. Tonight get an in-depth preview, a sort of mini-Town Meeting, as the Board of Selectmen hold a review of warrant articles at 6 p.m. and a warrant hearing at 7 p.m. Both meetings are at Abbot Hall.
3. Magicians in Action: Play ball! The Marblehead High baseball team hosts Concord-Carlisle today at 4 p.m. At the same time, the girls' lacrosse squad hosts Manchester-Essex. Here are the details.

4. Honor Peabody Firefighter James Rice: The 2nd Annual Run for Ricey is coming up April 27 at the Brown School in Peabody. It honors James Rice, a Peabody firefighter who died in the line of duty. The 5K race and mile fun run benefit the James Rice Memorial Fund and the late firefighter's family. You can find more information and sign up online here.

Great Music Every Friday Right in Town: I took my wife and father to Friday's show at the Me & Thee Coffee House (AKA the Unitarian Church) and just wanted to put in a plug for this amazing little venue. It's been going for 43 years. If you've never been, check out the artists coming and take in a show.
