Speeding BMW; Found Needle; Phone on Ocean Avenue

At 9:07 a.m., a Samsung Galaxy phone was found on Ocean Avenue.

At 2:12 p.m., a woman reported that she witnessed a gray BMW go speeding by at about 7:05 a.m. that morning. She said she’d seen the same vehicle before, but it has gone by too fast for her to get a plate number.

At 2:13 p.m., a man reported finding a needle at a bus stop. He placed it in a Ziplock bag until an officer arrived to pick it up.

At 3:43 p.m., a caller reported items were being thrown from a motor vehicle. Officers check the area, but couldn’t locate a vehicle matching the description.
