State Police to the Rescue for Local Taylor Swift Fans

Troopers assist with two broken limos and help escort girls to Foxboro.

What seemed like a string of bad luck for a group of Marblehead girls headed to Friday night’s Taylor Swift concert ended up being an escorted ride to Gillette Stadium, courtesy of the Massachusetts State Police.

The girls were heading to Gillette Stadium for the concert when their limousine became disabled on Route 1A in Revere.

Trooper Carlo Mastromattei responded and stood by until a replacement limousine arrived; the replacement limo went on its way but then that limousine became disabled.

Then, Trooper Seamus Kent arrived to assist with the second disabled limousine. The second limo was fixed and the girls were on their way to the concert again, this time followed by a trooper to make sure they made it safely.

The State Troopers said they wanted to thank the parents of this group for sharing their story and their appreciation of the troopers’ efforts.
