Tickets are now on sale for MLT's production of Translations by Brian Friel, the first live production at Marblehead Little Theatre in two years!

Produced by Steve Black and Erin Pelikhov, and directed by Trudi Olivetti with assistant direction by Victoria Hermann, Translations will be performed March 4 through 13 at 12 School St, Marblehead, MA. Tickets are $25 and may be purchased at mltlive.org.

Translations tells the story of the inhabitants of the fictional town of Baile Beag, a village in 19th century Ireland, and their resistance against the British Ordinance Survey. Themes of language, culture, imperialism, and the age-old struggle to maintain identity are beautifully woven in this eloquent, moving play. Full cast information and updated COVID-19 policies can be found at mltlive.org. The cast and crew of Translations look forward to taking the stage and reopening the beloved blackbox theatre after two years of COVID-19 hiatus, so join us for this excellent production!
