Town Announces Spring Curbside Leaf Collection Dates

Marblehead’s spring leaf collection dates are coming up soon.

Leaves will be collected on your normal trash and recycling pick-up day during the weeks of May 11 and June 1.

Here are a couple of things to keep in mind, according to a town announcement:

• No plastic bags will be collected or emptied, so use paper bags or barrels only.
• Leaves and grass only! Bags or barrels containing brush or other material will not be collected.
• There is no limit on the number of bags or barrels residents put at the curb.

The announcement encourages residents to plan ahead so that Mother Nature doesn’t thwart yard clearing activities.
