Town Rallies Around Accident Victim and His Family

A bank account for Cameron Sylvester was opened Monday at National Grand Bank in Marblehead.

 

A bank account has been set up to help a Marblehead man seriously injured in a car crash early Friday.

Cameron Sylvester was among three people extricated from a car at 87 Humphrey St. after police and fire units were called to the scene.

The young man has had surgery, according to a relative. Well wishers are expressing their thoughts online at social media sites. We will post additional information as it becomes available.

A fund was set up at National Grand Bank in Marblehead on Monday, according to a bank spokeswoman.

Other occupants of the vehicle included Maxwell Hill of Lynn and Michael Johnson of Mattapan.

Marblehead police continue to investigate the crash.
