Stonybrook Road resident has had enough of that car horn.

Honking your horn when you drive by someone you know could be seen as a neighborly thing to do.
However, there are times when the honking goes beyond being neighborly and becomes a nuisance.
A little after 9 a.m., a Stonybrook Road resident contacted police about one overenthusiastic horn honker.

The resident said that there is a man who honks his horn every time he goes by his house. The man told the Stonybrook resident that he did it just to bother him.
The rampant horn honker said his daughter lived near the Stonybrook Road resident, which is why he was in the area.

Police called the horn honker, who was not at home at the time.
Police did leave a message with his roommate, asking the man to call them back.
In the meantime, the Stonybrook Road resident called police to say that the man had just driven by and honked again.
Police stopped by the horn honker’s home, where he told officers that he was unaware that the horn honking bothered the Stonybrook Road resident so much.
He said he would refrain from doing it in the future.
