MARLBOROUGH, MA -- Three singers from Marlborough High School were recently chosen to participate in the 2015-2016 All-State Music Concert, and that’s a big deal.
The students are: Timothy Goliger, William Goliger and Noah Ogden, all tenors in chorus.
These students will perform with 500 of the most talented student musicians from across the state, according to an announcement. They represent excellence in achievement and therefore are known as Symphony Hall Scholars.

The musicians, selected as Symphony Hall Scholars will take center stage at Boston Symphony Hall on March 19.
“These students achieve the status of Symphony Hall Scholar by going through two very rigorous auditions, one at the district level, where over 4000 students are represented,“ said a spokesperson from Marlborough High School, “and then if recommended, they move to the All State audition, where over 1000 students compete for the honor of performing at Symphony Hall.“
