A Little Bit of Paradise at Dru-Mais Hair Salon and Day Spa
The Thursday Patch Passport shows you a Little Bit of Paradise. This is a local place where you can feel like you are a million miles away from the daily stress of life, without having to go far from home. Come along and relax...
Nestled in the heart of Marlborough in what was built in 1869 as a shoe factory, is an architectural masterpiece. Although the building maintains much of the original hardwood flooring, cabinets and fixtures, it is stylishly modern. Owners Drew and Christian Dumais recycled the mirrors and some fixtures from local businesses and the elegant hanging lights from the former St. Mary's Church in Marlborough.
At Dru-Mais, partons are truly pampered. From hair to nails to makeup to massages to waxing and facials, there is something for everyone. For weddings, bachelorette, birthday and private parties, there are event rooms including a full service kitchen. To top it off, the building boasts six bathrooms.
This hidden gem has to be seen to believed.
