What is “Groupon”? Groupon is an internet business that creates a win-win situation for consumers and local stores, restaurants, spas, theaters and more in major cities because they negotiate deals of 50-90 percent off prices! This is great news for you because of the savings and for the businesses because of the number of customers brought in!

Groupon was created by Andrew Mason back in November 2008 to target markets in Chicago. Then, it was quickly followed by Boston, New York City and Toronto. There are now 150 markets in North America and 100 in Europe, Asia and South America using Groupon.

Groupon has deals every single day in Worcester, Boston and Springfield! You can go onto the website, and see if the Deal of the Day tickles your fancy. If it does, sign up! Groupon sets a minimum number of people that need to sign up each day. If enough do, then you'll all get the low price! (Hint: You can increase the number of people interested by telling your friends via word-of-mouth, Twitter or Facebook!) You can also opt for a daily email from Groupon so you don't miss anything!
