MARLBOROUGH, MA — Cindy Albert has been installed as the next president of the Rotary Club of Marlborough.
Albert will lead the club for the 2026-27 Rotary year, succeeding Alan Herzog, who served as president for 2025-26. The club thanked Herzog and his team for their service over the past year while wishing Albert and her team success in the year ahead.
Rotary is a service organization whose more than 45,000 clubs work on issues including peace, disease prevention, clean water, education, local economies, and the environment.
In Marlborough, Albert will serve as president for 2026-27, while Peggy Sheldon will take over that role for 2027-28.
The Rotary Club of Marlborough meets in person at 12:15 p.m. Thursdays at The Bolton Street Tavern, 587 Bolton St.
The club also has plans to host two upcoming events, including a Sept. 16 Rotary Golf Tournament at Marlborough Country Club and an Oct. 21 Realty Fair. You can find more details about Rotary Club events here.
