MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough Public Schools is offering free summer meals for children at several locations through August.
The district is participating in the Summer Food Service Program, which provides meals at no charge for children ages 0 to 18. Meals are available at the Marlborough Public Library, Ward Park, Stevens Park and Ghiloni Park on weekdays through Aug. 21.
Meals must be eaten on-site and cannot be taken off the premises. All meals served through the program must meet federal nutrition standards, according to the district.
The Marlborough Public Library site is serving meals from noon to 2 p.m. from June 25 through Aug. 21.
The park meal sites run from June 29 through Aug. 21, with Ward Park serving meals from 12:45 to 1:05 p.m., Stevens Park serving meals from 11:20 to 11:40 a.m. and Ghiloni Park serving meals from noon to 12:30 p.m.
The program is open to all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, disability or age, according to Marlborough Public Schools.
