BBB is partnering with Google to help small businesses grow their presence online with a Get Your Business Online Workshop.

Better Business Bureau Serving E. MA, ME, RI & VT (BBB) is partnering with Google to help small businesses grow their presence online with a Get Your Business Online Workshop. The workshop will be hosted on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at BBB’s Marlborough headquarters from 8:00 am - 7:00 pm.

The Get Your Business Online program aims to attract small businesses in the area to update their information online with BBB and Google. Partnering with Google, BBB is working to bring community members and business owners together to help small businesses succeed on the web.

This workshop is a fast, easy and free way for businesses to get online, while updating their information with BBB and Google. BBB will have a dedicated team ready to help with getting businesses online, as well as fun giveaways, free snacks, and helpful resources.

“Four out of five consumers use search engines to find local information nearby, yet only 37% of businesses have claimed their listing on a search engine,” says Soo Young Kim, Head of Small Business Engagement at Google. “Small businesses are the engine of local economies and when they flourish, their communities do as well.”

This program is designed to empower communities to support their local businesses and encourage them to get on the map using BBB and Google. Local businesses keep our communities strong; when we help them succeed online, they make our communities even stronger.
