Buddy Dog Humane Society and Pet Health Academy
Buddy Dog's yearly event, "Woofstock," was a great success this year. Pet Health Academy demonstrated Pet CPR and First Aid
The end of summer brings about many things in New England, from apple cider donuts to the beauty of fall foliage. However, to those central mass animal lovers, it means the coming of “Woofstock!” Woofstock is a celebration of pet adoption, put on by Buddy Dog Humane Society, and supported by many local businesses and citizens. This year, the weather cooperated and it was nothing short of ideal. The sun was shining, but the heat was down and so was the wind!
For attendees, there are many local vendors providing information and even some free stuff! True to its name, you’ll see volunteers in tie-dye shirts, live music, and a concession stand. It’s a real party! Buddy Dog also holds a raffle full of donated items to raise money for the adopted pets.
Pet Health Academy was in attendance, demonstrating their Pet First Aid and Pet CPR Certification course. They even had a chance to put their skills into action, when Cara Armour helped out a dachshund with a bleeding ear! Cara was caught on camera doing a good deed and had this to say,
