CareWell Urgent Care, UMass Memorial Health Care Affiliated Center Coming to Marlborough
Summer opening will mark fourth center for growing New England urgent care chain and top Worcester, MA health system

A new UMass Memorial-affiliated CareWell Urgent Care center will open this summer in East Marlborough. The center at 757 Boston Post Road will provide area residents with an integrated healthcare solution, serving patients based on their individual needs for non-life-threatening injuries, colds, flu, infections, fractures, cuts, bites, rashes, nose bleeds, allergic reactions, and skin issues among others.
“CareWell, in affiliation with UMass Memorial Health Care, is excited to open our fourth center together,” said CEO Shaun Ginter. “We recognize that this type of health care service is vital to communities like Marlborough. Together we are giving more people in Central and Metrowest Massachusetts access to quality care at an affordable price conveniently located in their own community.”
UMass Memorial Health Care can now refer appropriate patients to nearby CareWell centers, reducing wait times and costs for non-urgent illnesses and injuries. CareWell clinics are located in close proximity to UMass Memorial Health Care hospitals, ensuring these referrals can be made quickly and conveniently. The Marlborough center will be located within 3.2 miles of UMass Memorial-Marlborough Hospital.
