I’m Patriot, named because I was taken in on Patriot’s Day! I was a street cat in Marlborough, but I decided I wanted a better life, and convinced a good samaritan to take me in. He couldn’t keep me, and brought me to CaRMaH. But, I had a badly damaged foot and leg - an old injury that caused me pain. I had my right front leg removed, and I am so much happier! I can still play, and get up on things when I want to. I need time to warm up, then I adore having my head scrubbed. Once I’m really comfortable, I want my whole body pet! I can get overexcited and nip - gently - but I’d best be with older kids or adults. I’m about 2 years old, and in great health.

OUR KITTEN POLICY: Kittens under the age of 6 months need other cats for social development and fewer behavioral problems - and they keep each other company when people aren’t around. So, we adopt out kittens in pairs, or with their charming momcats, or into home already having a young or active cat.
