Chewbacca, Burt Reynolds at Super Megafest Comic-Con: Massachusetts This Weekend

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Skip through the event listings, and visitors quickly realize they will have to create a plan of action to take in as much as possible at Super Megafest Comic-Con, a bigger-than-life mash-up of Sci-Fi, comic book artists, celebrity guests, movie buffs, wrestling and rock ‘n’ roll.

The New England Super Megafest Comic Con Spring 2016 takes place April 8-10 at the Royal Plaza Trade Center in Marlborough. It’s considered New England’s largest multimedia fanjets and ‘best comic con.”

Super fans can “dork out” with others, and there’s even an opportunity to dress up as your favorite superhero.

Here are a few of the many events and attractions lined up for Super Megafest: celebrity guest appearances by Burt Reynolds, Peter Mayhew and James Marsters. Guests also include wrestlers, models, authors, as well as hundreds of exhibitors.

There are numerous celebrity autograph signings and photo ops with guests such Burt Reynolds, Peter Mayhew and James Marsters.

Also, according to the event’s website, X-Men and other Marvel and DC writers and artists will give panel discussions and mingle with celebrities and costumed fans. Comic artists include Mike Grell, Jerry Ordway, Graham Nolan and Joe Jusco.

Other attractions include a Dudes and Dragons showing, James Marsters concert and Shadowcast performances.
