AMSA Students to host Reading Carnival for SMOC Headstart

WE NEED YOUR HELP ~ Spread the Love of Reading!

~ I Love to Read Carnival ~

The 6th graders at the Advanced Math & Science Academy (AMSA)will be once again hosting the carnival at the SMOC Headstart Program next door to AMSA. As part of the celebration, we hope to give 10 books, in a nice book bag, to each of the 105 children attending their program. Every child at SMOC comes from a low-income family.
We need to raise approximately 1,100 books for the program. Do you have any picture books (age 1-7) that you can donate?

If so, please let me know (m.vital@amsacs.org) and I can pick them up, or you can drop them off at the AMSA Lower School at 201 Forest Street, Marlborough.

Imagine...You could be giving a child their first book.
