Cupcake Decorating for Teens

Learn to decorate cupcakes from an expert!

We will start from the basics and learn how to make frosting and understand the frosting consistencies. We will practice making different techniques including the shell border, stars, leaves, ruffles, writing and printing, the famous swirl on top of the cupcakes, and then be creative with fondant appliques and learn how to make a ribbon rose from fondant.

After you learn all of these techniques, you can apply them to your cupcakes. All supplies* will be provided EXCEPT for cupcakes. Please bring in 6 cupcakes and something to carry them home in.

This program is only open to 15 teens going into grade 6-12. Please register to reserve your spot! Registration closes at 4pm on Friday, April 15th so we can have enough supplies on hand.

*If you would like to purchase a small decorating kit, they'll be available afterwards for $5.00 each. Each kit contains: Round Tip 3, Star Tip 1M, Leaf Tip 352, 8" Professional Decorating Bag, Standard Coupler, and Instruction Sheet.
