A DAZZLING DISPLAY OF COSTUMES & MASKS HIGHLIGHTS ALICE IN WONDERLAND

Rivers Edge Players production of "Alice In Wonderland" features local talent and creative costuming by Hudson resident Kathy Wilkinson.

Costume designer Kathy Farrell Wilkinson will be the first to admit that she’s as “Mad as a Hatter” for taking on the world of Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland”. With 14 masks, 70 costumes and over 100 props, Hudson resident Wilkinson couldn’t resist a crafting challenge. Using paper mache, model magic, cardboard and even duct tape she has created with painstaking detail the magical world of Wonderland. From the electric blue top hat & tails of the Mad Hatter, the furry feet and ears of the White Rabbit, and a Cheshire Cat grin that glows in the dark; audiences young and old will be captivated by the parade of colorful characters that come to life in the Rivers Edge Players original adaptation of “Alice in Wonderland”.

Alice in Wonderland features a cast of 29 performers of all ages from Hudson, Marlborough and surrounding towns. Original music underscores the madcap adventures of Alice as she encounters the wacky and whimsical characters of Lewis Carroll’s imagination. Produced by Rivers Edge Arts Alliance, performances run April 8-10 at the Intel Mini Theater at Hudson High School, 69 Brigham Street Hudson. Advance tickets are $18 for adults and $14 for students/seniors. Tickets can be purchased online at: www.upwitharts.org or by calling 978-562-1646
