Marlborough Election Results: Vigeant Re-Elected, Ayres Assabet School Committee

Update:

According to unofficial results, Marlborough has re-elected Arthur Vigeant as its mayor, Mark A. Oram as a councilor-at-large and Peggy Margaret Ayres for Assabet Valley School Committee.

Vigeant received 2,818 votes to challenger Edward L. Bigelow’s 1,451.

School Committee candidates were uncontested, with three candidates receiving nearly equal numbers.

Peggy Margaret Ayres was victorious, landing a seat on the Assabet Valley School Committee over challenger Domenic J. Valarioti.

Mark Oram, Michael Ossing, Kathleen Robey and Peter Juaire won the top votes for four Councilor-at-Large seats.

Of 20,809 registered voters, 4,388 voted, accounting for 21.09 percent of voters.
