The Merrimack Valley Ringers are thrilled to offer their annual Holiday concert at First Church Congregational (37 High Street in Marlboro) once again this year. They'll be performing Saturday, December 5th at 7 PM in the charming atmosphere of the sanctuary, playing Christmas favorites for young and old alike. These handbell musicians perform on five and a half octaves of handbells, 6 octaves of handchimes, and various percussion instruments. The program includes full group selections, as well as a bell tree duet and a handbell quartet. And if you've never heard Trans Siberian Orchestra's "Wizards in Winter" on handbells before, you're in for a wild ride! Come and join us for an exhilarating evening that's sure to get you in the mood for this special time of year. The concert is FREE with a reception afterward.

In our final concert of the season SPM is thrilled to present two younger rising-star violinists, 14-year-old Samuel Lee and 15-year-old Takahiro Higuchi, both making their orchestral soloist debuts! Already winners of multiple competitions, they will perform the high-energy Concerto for Two Violins by Antonio Vivaldi, the spiky Concerto for Two Violins by Bronislav Martinu and the high-intensity, showpiece for two violins and orchestra, “Navarra,” by Pablo de Sarasate. You will be dazzled by their youthful energy and high-power virtuosity!
