1. Joe Val Bluegrass Festival
Where/When: Sheraton Hotel, 1657 Worcester Rd., Framingham, Friday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m.
Why Go: The Joe Val Bluegrass Festival returns this year with an amazing lineup: Grascals, Boxcars, JD Crowe, The Whites, Northern Lights, Della Mae, and many, many more. Also: Master classes, jamming, vendors, Showcase Stage, and fun for the whole family. Under 12 free. Check the schedule online.

2. Kick'n Cancer Fundraiser
Where/When: and Convention Center, 181 Boston Post Rd., Marlborough, Saturday Feb. 19, from 7 p.m.-1 a.m.
Why Go: Going 80's this year, this is a fundraiser to raise money for the American Cancer Society. With special musical guests Bon Jersey (Bon Jovi tribute band), the Great Escape, Dirty Deeds (AC/DC cover band), Off the Hook, and XRB. Special guest Wally the Green Monster. 4. I Love the Arts — A fundraiser for the Arts Alliance
Where/When: Riverview Gallery, 13 Port Street, Hudson, Saturday, Feb. 19, at 7:30 p.m.
