Hazmat Situation In Marlborough After 'Unidentified Chemicals' Found
Marlborough firefighters responded to the Boston Post Road building Tuesday night, and were still on scene Wednesday.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — State and local officials are investigating a hazmat situation in Marlborough following an initial response on Tuesday.
Marlborough firefighters first responded to the 624 Boston Post Road condo building Tuesday evening. In one unit of the building, firefighters removed one person who was taken to a local hospital.
Fire crews also found a large amount of "unknown, unidentified chemicals" in the unit where the person was found, Assistant Chief Jeffrey Gogan said Wednesday.

State police, the state Department of Fire Services and Marlborough Fire Department crews were on scene Wednesday afternoon continuing to investigate the source of the hazmat situation.
