Help Support the Arts

The Arts Alliance is hosting an evening of art to raise funds for their community art programs.

Put on your dancing shoes and come out for an evening of music, theater, delicious food and more – all to support the arts. On Saturday February 19, beginning at 7:30 p.m., the Arts Alliance is hosting “I Love the Arts,” which is a fundraiser to support the nonprofit and its mission to enrich lives and create community through the arts.

The evening will kick off with appetizers that are provided by local restaurants as a violin, flute and piano provide relaxing background music. Local actors and singers will then perform songs from popular Broadway musicals, such as from Phantom of the Opera, Wicked and Rent.

After comical theater performances come to an end, DJ Bob Hardy will lure folks to the dance floor with classic dance songs. An irresistible dessert bar will be present, along with a cash bar. And naturally there will also be an exhibit featuring work by local artists.

“All proceeds will go toward the Arts Alliance. The donations will help us to bring the full spectrum of the arts to your community,” said Michelle Holmes, who sits on the Board of Directors.

Tickets are $25 per person or $250 for a table of ten. The event will be held at Riverview, which is located at 13 Port Street in Hudson. Visit the Art Alliance’s web site to order advance tickets, or call (978) 562-1646. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
