Holiday Walk Dec 5th

The start point is the National Shrine of Our Lady of LaSalette (near cafeteria), Park Street (Route 118) Attleboro, Mass. Registration is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., finish by 5 p.m.

The 10km route commences at LaSalette Shrine and goes through a short path in woods then on to paved road & sidewalks. The 5 km route requires a short drive to the Attleboro Industrial Museum where the trail begins.

The walk routes traverse town streets passing many historic sites and homes. Both walk routes pass the Capron Zoo are on paved sidewalks, and a relatively flat unpaved walk path, suitable for strollers but not for wheelchairs. Dogs are not allowed in the Capron Zoo. Leashed pets are welcome on the walk but clean-up laws apply.

The walk is sponsored by the Walk ‘n Mass Volkssport Club. Volkssporting events promote fun, fitness and friendship by providing non-competitive walking and other sporting events free to the public.
