Holy Cross Women's Lacrosse To Host #9 Boston College & Sacred Heart This Week
The Crusaders will play BC in the home-opener at Holy Cross Field on Wed. Feb. 17 at 3:35 p.m and Sacred Heart on Sat. Feb. 20 at 12:05 p.m
The Holy Cross women’s lacrosse team will host two games this week. The Crusaders will play No. 9 Boston College in the home-opener at Holy Cross Field on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 3:35 p.m., while Holy Cross will take on Sacred Heart on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 12:05 p.m. Here is what you need to know as the Crusaders enter the second week of the season.
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Holy Cross will host No. 9 Boston College at 3:35 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 17. The Eagles defeated Patriot League opponent Boston University, 18-9, in their season-opener on Feb. 12.
- Last year, BC went 15-4 overall (5-2 ACC) and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament falling to Patriot League opponent Loyola (Md.), 19-12.
- Then on Saturday, Feb. 20, the Crusaders will host Sacred Heart at 12:05 p.m. The Pioneers are 0-1 so far this season as they fell to Marist, 15-12, in their season-opener on Feb. 15.
- Last year, the Pioneers went 7-9 overall (3-4 NEC). The Crusaders are 13-3 all-time versus the Pioneers.
- Next week, the Crusaders will host two-time defending NEC champion Bryant on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 4:05 p.m.
