What should my child wear? Skating is a sport. So dress in athletic type clothing. Leggings/sweatpants/snowpants and form fitting clothing allows for ease of movement. Winter/fleece jackets and layers are encouraged incase they break a sweat. An all sport HECC helmet is also required for all youth skaters. Don’t forget gloves to keep your hands warm, and a thin pair of socks that rises above the ankles.
