Marlborough Election Results 2019: Vigeant Re-Elected
Incumbents fared well in municipal elections, with the mayor and most council members winning re-election easily.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Unofficial results from Tuesday's municipal election show incumbent Mayor Arthur Vigeant easily winning re-election over challenger David Garceau, as did incumbents in most other races on the ballot.
The 2019 Marlborough election featured contested races for both at-large and district seats on City Council and for the Assabet and Marlborough school committees as well as for mayor. There were also four uncontested City Council races in wards 3, 4, 5, and 7.
Nearly 5,700 people voted in Tuesday's election, about 25 percent of the nearly 23,000 registered voters. That turnout is better than usual in off-year elections.
