MARLBOROUGH, MA—A public hearing is being held at a City Council meeting to give Marlborough residents a chance to voice opinions on a proposed moratorium on recreational marijuana shops.
Joining a growing number of neighboring communities, the city is considering adopting the moratorium, and has a hearing scheduledon Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. in City Council Chambers at City Hall, reports the MetroWest Daily News.
City councilors have suggested the ban out of concern for residential zoning, and a chance to review the law.
