I encourage residents to take time and clean out their garages, basements or attics of any hazardous material and dispose of it on the designated collection day," Mayor Arthur Vigeant said.
Some examples of items that can be dropped off are air conditioners, car batteries, drain openers, computers, fluorescent bulbs, household cleaners, polishes or batteries, oil-based paints, propane tanks, microwaves, monitors, pesticides, pool chemicals, weed killers, TVs, and much more.
