MARLBOROUGH, MA — With warmer, less snowy weather almost certainly here to stay, construction season in Marlborough will soon get underway.

The Marlborough Department of Public Works this week unveiled a new website where residents can go to see all the projects that are either in the works — some begin in the fall or before that — and ones that are starting this spring.

Perhaps the largest project coming up is a rebuild of a nearly 2-1/2 mile stretch of Route 20 from the Sudbury line west to Phelps Street. The project will include a general resurfacing of the roadway, but also the addition of sidewalks and bike lanes. Separately, Marlborough will replace a water main running under the roadway.

But there are plenty more projects happening across the city, including a new recreational path at Ghiloni Park, a resurfacing of Donald Lynch Boulevard and a rebuild of Lincoln Street.
