Marlborough Man Faces 13 Charges After Hit-And-Run: Police
The hit-and-run incident along the Boston Post Road in December led police to discover related crimes.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — A 23-year-old Marlborough man is facing 13 criminal charges after a December hit-and-run incident along the Boston Post Road, according to police.
Just before 5 p.m. on Dec. 28, police went to an apartment complex near Farm Road on a report that a person driving a car hit two other parked vehicles. Police later found the driver parked at the Gulf gas station near East Main Street and Lincoln Street.
When police approached the car, they could see the driver was intoxicated and had an open container with him. The officers also suspected he was using marijuana.

When police searched the man, he was found carrying a wallet that was reported stolen from a car break-in earlier in the day. Police also discovered the man had smashed another vehicle's window along the Boston Post Road around the same time.
Marlborough police arrested the Lincoln Street resident on charges of operating a vehicle under the influence, felony breaking-and-entering, larceny under $1,200, carrying a dangerous weapon, negligent operation of a vehicle, possession of an open container in a vehicle, two counts of leaving the scene of a property damage accident and five counts of vandalizing property.
