Marlborough Man Named to Baker's Transition Team
Governor-elect Charlie Baker has selected a Marlborough resident to serve on his transition team.

Several residents have been named to Gov.-elect Charlie Baker’s transition team.
On Thursday, Baker, of Swampscott, named dozens of members to his transition team, with specific teams focusing on jobs, schools, communities, health and better government.
Marlborough’s Rajendra Melville of the Deshpande Foundation was chosen to serve on the jobs and economy team.

Melville is the executive director of Deshpande, according to the foundation’s website, and “develops overall strategy, and channels the Foundation’s efforts to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation. Previously as Principal at Ambient Engines, Raj Melville provided marketing and strategy consulting to emerging social entrepreneurs. He founded the annual Forum for Social Entrepreneurs, organized and moderated numerous panels and workshops on social entrepreneurship, and currently mentors several startups focused on addressing key social issues.”
