MARLBOROUGH, MA — Mayor Arthur Vigeant will host an Irish-themed Charity Relief Ball in 2020. The biennial event raises money for the city's charity fund, which provides help for residents who experience hardships like eviction, a natural disaster, or unexpected medical bills.

The 2020 charity ball will take place on March 14 at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel. Vigeant will also present his "humanitarian of the year" award at the event.

“We hope many who work, live, and play in Marlborough will attend the ball. Not only is this event always fun, but the money raised helps so many Marlborough neighbors when they encounter hard times and need assistance the most” Vigeant said in a press release.
