Deals Galore on Main Street and More

Warm up this week with a free yoga class, free admission to the Discovery Museums, and a way to help a wonderful local school just by going out to dinner.

1. Come to a free Kripalu Yoga Class with Lynn Alimo on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at the Earthsong Yoga Center. The class begins with warm-up movements and breath awareness to prepare for yoga postures. The heart of the class is a sequence of postures that stretch, strengthen, and balance your body. The class will end with deep relaxation and meditation. 2. First Friday nights are free at The Discovery Museums in Acton. Come to the Discovery Museums on Nov. 4 and enjoy free admission to both museums from 4:30-8:30 p.m. They gratefully accept donations for the Acton Food Pantry. This generous offer is sponsored in part by Acorn Deck House and Emerson Hospital and will take place the first Friday night each month through June 2012. The Discovery Museums are located at 177 Main Street (Route 27) in Acton, 978.264.4200. 

3. Tuesdays nights in November are St. Bernadette School nights at Not Your Average Joes in Wesborough. Present this flyer when you dine on Tuesday nights and St. Bernadette School will receive 15 percent of your bill, excluding tax, alcohol, and gratuity. The dates of the fundraiser are Nov. 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29.  You can help a wonderful area school community by just dining out! St. Bernadette School is located in Northborough and Not Your Average Joes is located at 291 Turnpike Rd., Westborough.
