Marlborough Woman Charged After Fentanyl Bust In Worcester
The woman and a Webster man were seen buying drugs on Monday afternoon.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — Worcester police arrested a Marlborough woman Monday afternoon following a drug transaction involving fentanyl.
Members of the Worcester police vice team were on patrol along Providence Street Monday when they saw a man get into the back seat of a car. When the man emerged from the car, police found him carrying "a small piece of cocaine."
Worcester police pulled the man and woman over near a Providence Street convenience store and searched them. They discovered nine bags of fentanyl, plus about 3-1/2 grams of cocaine bagged for sale.

The man, a 33-year-old of Tanner Road in Webster, was charged with distribution of a class b substance, possession of a class b substance with intent to distribute, possession of a class a substance with intent to distribute and conspiracy to break drug laws. The woman, a 41-year-old of Northborough Road in Marlborough, received the same charges.
