Mayor Wants To Spend $5 Million To Replace Lead Water Pipes
The plan would replace service pipes in the city.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—The mayor, as part of a long-term capital plan, wants to help homeowners by spending $5 million over the next five years to replace lead pipes that lead to their homes, reports the Marlborough Enterprise.
Mayor Arthur Vigeant is proposing that the pipes that connect city water to individual houses and buildings be replaced, a matter that City Councilors have referred to the Finance Committee.
