New Sex Offender Registered in Marlborough

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Under Massachusetts law, police departments are obligated to inform residents of a newly-registered sex offender in town.

Everett Bower, 43, is listed as living at 29 Witherbee St., Apt. A, Marlborough. Bower was convicted of the rape and abuse of a child (five counts) in 2006, dissemination of matter harmful to minors (one count) in 2007, indecent assault and battery (one count) on a person 14 or older in 2007, and indecent assault and battery (one count) on a person under 14.
